My New Setup.

Okay, I have mustered up the motivation to actually post.

My desk was a fucking mess. Two large speakers and a shitty HP monitor surrounded by a mess of bottles and cans. My speakers were shitting out on me (more so than they had already been doing), and my monitor wouldn’t stay up anymore. So I decided to order a new set of speakers and a new monitor. I chose a nice set of Klipsch 2.1 speakers and a Samsung monitor. (Links at the bottom) They took like, a week to get here. I was ripping out my hair waiting for them. The speakers got here on Friday and I was overfilled with glee as I opened them and set them up. I set them around my monitor which was falling over. I was satisfied with them but, irritated by the fact that the monitor I had ordered at the same time had not yet arrived. What the fuck? It took my monitor another 4 days to get here. It got here on Tuesday (at like 4pm, I was pacing the floor waiting) I set it up and configured it and was extremely satisfied to have this big beautiful monitor instead of that shitty one I had previously. But then I was looking at the old one sit on my floor; why should I throw it away? It was still working, the height adjustment…thing just wouldn’t stay up anymore. That doesn’t really matter if it were a second monitor. So I played with the idea for about 2 hours before deciding to set it as a second monitor. The monitor is top heavy and was originally being supported by the LCD on my keyboard. I decided to rig it with a stack of index cards (lawl) so it wouldn’t fall over. I am so glad that I decided to do that. Having two monitors is really convenient.

So, I guess I should find something to write about.

I bought Dark Messiah Yesterday. The game seems alot like Oblivion (FPS-esque) but I don’t think Dark Messiah will last nearly as long as Oblivion did. I spent months on Oblivion but It seems that Dark Messiah is only going to last a day at most. The graphics are nice (Source Engine) but the characters get on my nerves and the voice acting is…well you’d think it was a JRPG . I dunno how it got a 75 metascore.

I haven’t really done anything else really gaming wise but I have an absolute shitload of anime to watch.

Now I love anime but it has reached a point where I have so much to watch I just don’t know where to start. The ones that are still running I, of course, watch right as they are released. But, all of the anime that I have that is complete I just don’t know which end to begin at. It’s kind of irritating, but the art is pretty so I’m not complaining .

Well, there you go Rockman. I have nothing else to truly rant about other than it’s fucking cold and that my life is an absolute bore.
